After watching the majority of the conference play their spring games and reading the reports on how the teams are shaping up, I am going to pretend like I can see into the future and predict how I think the conference will shape up after all the games are played. I am not too familiar with Indiana, but other than that I seem to have a solid perspective on the Big Ten (hint: outside of the top four, it's very average).
1. Ohio State (12-0) BCS National Championship
2. Iowa (10-2) Rose Bowl
3. Wisconsin (10-2) Capital One Bowl
4. Penn State (9-3) Outback Bowl
5. Michigan State (7-5) Gator Bowl
6. Northwestern (7-5) Texas Bowl
7. Michigan (6-6) Insight Bowl
8. Minnesota (6-6) Dallas Football Classic
9. Purdue (5-7)
10. Illinois (5-7)
11. Indiana (4-8)

Even if Michigan makes a bowl game do you still think coach Rod gets fired?
ReplyDeleteThat is an easier question to answer than one would think. Six wins and a bowl game may be the crowning acheivement of the Rich Rod era, but that is exactly the point. If Michigan has any sense of pride, they will fire him regardless of making a bowl game. It would be for the best.
ReplyDeleteWho does michigan bring in? Another outsider like rich rod or les miles.
ReplyDeleteLes Miles would be the main goal for Michigan at this point. Bringing in a non "Michigan Man" like Rich Rod was probably a mistake. Miles could come in and bring a more pro-style offense back to Ann Arbor, while the fan base will love him because of his Michigan roots.
