2. Alabama (4-0, @ Kentucky)
3. Texas (4-0, Bye Week)
4. LSU (4-0, @ Georgia)
5. Virginia Tech (3-1, @ Duke)
6. Boise State (4-0, vs UC Davis)
7. Ohio State (3-1, @ Indiana)
8. USC (3-1, @ California)
9. Oklahoma (2-1, @ Miami FL)
10. Cincinnati (4-0, @ Miami OH)
Outside Looking In...
Penn State (3-1) Should win the rest of their games before taking on the Buckeyes.
TCU (3-0) I think they are a better overall team than Boise State. Still need to prove it.
Iowa (4-0) After looking awful in week one, they have rattled off wins over 'Zona and PSU.
Oklahoma State (3-1) Despite dropping a game, they have tons of firepower.
Houston (3-0) wins over Oklahoma State and Texas Tech = impressive.
Again, I understand that USC beat Ohio State. They are playing better football and should've beaten the Trojans. I firmly believe that OSU is a better football team and is starting to slowly find their offensive identity.
Cincinnati is in the top ten.... for now. They may not even be the best team in the Big East after South Florida beat Florida State despite losing their star QB for the season.
LSU might be the least impressive highly ranked team now, but that could all change after they play Georgia next week, and then play host to the top ranked Florida Gators.
